New embeddable playlists
With this new feature, you are now able to instantly create code which can be used to embed your playlists on external websites. No more waiting for tech resources - your staff (with the right permissions) can now market their playlists, instantly increasing visibility to your catalog. Please contact your account manager if this is something you would like to enable in your system.
Asset Platform (Modules)
Collections moved to the Users section of Synchtank Admin
The Collections feature in the Synchtank Admin Site has been repositioned to the Users section. As a reminder, the Collections feature allows you to control visibility and access to repertoire (e.g., a particular library) by Users or User Groups.
Royalty Platform (IRIS)
Interim royalties now available in the Data Suite
Synchtank customers with Data Suite will now be able to incorporate data from interim royalty runs into their Royalty Dashboard to ensure accuracy before running the official royalty run.
This provides more flexibility in reporting and allows you to see fluctuations by source or income type in a more visual output as opposed to spreadsheets.
CWR file update - SAAN
In keeping with new standards set by ICE, the SAAN (Society Assigned Agreement Number) is now included in the SPU record as well as the PWR record for CWR registrations sent to collection societies.
IRIS income types - exporting to Excel
Fixed a small issue where some customers were experiencing issues that were preventing export to Excel for IRIS Unmapped Income Types.

New preloaded list of PROs
The system now comes with a CISAC-approved list of PROs preloaded under Organizations and Contacts, meaning you can now choose from a set dropdown when entering Society details, ensuring consistent and accurate values across the platform.
ALBUMS
Catalog is no longer a free text field
The Catalog field under ‘Albums’ has been updated from a free text field to a drop down across the Synchtank Admin, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the platform and reducing issues with integrations and delivery mapping.
Greater control over track numbering
A minor issue with the incorrect ordering of album tracks (under the ‘Sections’ tab of Album Details) has now been fixed so that once uploaded, tracks will be automatically ordered. If you want to amend the order you can drag and drop tracks.
WEBSITE
Publish/unpublish news articles
News articles published on front-facing sites can now be published or unpublished under News in the ‘Website’ section of the Synchtank Admin.

Edit suite integration
Synchtank’s new integration with Adobe Premiere allows editors to easily search for tracks directly within their Premiere application, and drag and drop tracks straight into the productions they are working on.
Delivery
- As requested, Tracks selected for delivery will be sent regardless of their published status (published or unpublished).
- Our Delivery module now supports Wasabi as a delivery route.
Natural language search
You can now expand your Synchtank search capabilities and super serve clients with the AIMS Prompt Search. This allows users to search for tracks using their own words - whether that’s a particular phrase, sync brief, or even a scene description - and return more accurate results.
Royalty Platform (IRIS)
CWR/society territory links
When publishers register works with collection societies via CWR, the exports generated to share this information weren't matching the territory inclusions and exclusions that had been set for each society. This has now been amended to ensure that the outbound CWR reflects the appropriate territories for each society as assigned by the user.
Reporting
We have added two new exports for Contacts and Organizations (including IRIS code and Performance and Mechanical Society Affiliations) for importing into ARM.

Add/edit front-end navigation menu items
Users with ‘Client Admin’ access are now able to add/edit items they wish to change in the main navigation menu of their front facing system. For example, you can edit titles, URL links (with the option to open in a new tab), add more drop-down options, and completely re-order your menu.
Published, restricted and release dates - helper text
We have now added prompts within the admin to help explain the different types of release dates (publish, restricted, release). Just hover over the grey question mark icon to reveal the information and ensure you are inputting the data correctly. This applies to the Tracks, Masters, Compositions, and Albums sections of your admin.
Tables can't be imported directly. Please insert an image of your table which can be found here.
These helper texts are also available in French, German and Spanish.
Just navigate to the top right and select the flag icon to reveal the drop down and change the language.
ISRC auto-generation setup - helper text
Synchtank now supports the auto-generation of ISRCs for sound recordings. Head to 'ISRC Setup' in the ‘Metadata’ section of Synchtank admin and create custom ISRC prefixes using the help hover text to ensure you are inputting the correct information and data.
Confirmed (active) date/time value - user management
An error was identified in the login information for some users of Synchtank where the incorrect date/time was showed. This has now been amended and rectified.
Dropdown options
An issue with dropdowns in the admin was identified where users were typing in a field to find the right dropdown option and then selecting that option, but both the initial search text and final selection were appearing. This has now been rectified to show only the selected dropdown option. Users can now also remove data from dropdown fields using the ‘X’ icon.
Party Code field added to Organizations and Contacts
Within the Contacts section of the Synchtank admin there is now a 'Party Code' field available when creating an organization (publisher) or contact (writer) which can be imported from, or exported to, CWR files. These codes will also be included in all other relevant imports or exports.
New IRIS Code and Society Affiliation field
For customers who migrate data between Synchtank's Asset Platform and Royalty Platform (IRIS), the export data will now include the IRIS Code and Society Affiliation field, making imports into the Royalty Platform a lot smoother.

Delivery module:
DDEX 3.8.2
To ensure compliance with DDEX 3.8.2 we have updated our mapping within the Delivery module to include this as a format option for customers.
Additional improvements to delivery mapping:
- Country of origin - Country of origin has been added to Masters/Sound Recordings for users to add and include within mapping.
- Free text, prefix, suffix - When creating a delivery template, you can now specify a fixed prefix or suffix when exporting your data.
Royalty Platform (IRIS)
Assignor and acquirer entities
When specifying the ownership chain on compositions to the selected parties, the system will now prevent the user from tying a party to itself - ensuring the assignor and the acquirer are different entities.
CWR worldwide file generation
Users now have the ability to create a CWR file - an export designed for a worldwide format. You can now send the same file to any collection society who then have the ability to choose the specific territory information they need.
Reports:
- Partner Share of Retained report - Due to a system error there was a blank report being populated when trying to export Partner Share of Retained. This has now been rectified.
- Song Client Link by Song report - There was a bug identified in the Song Client Link by Song report which featured duplicate rows. This has now been rectified.
Asset Platform Export 2.0
A new template has been created for users to export Composition Details and Shares from the Royalty Platform (IRIS) to the Asset Platform.
