What are Placements?

Placements showcase where your catalog has been used — in TV shows, film sequences, brand campaigns, trailers, and more. They are a great way to promote your recent syncs and the artists you represent to existing and prospective clients.

Where can I find Placements on the site?

Placements have their own dedicated page on your Synchtank site. They can also appear on individual Artist Pages, showing all the syncs associated with a specific artist.

What information does a Placement show?

Each Placement includes the artist, date, title, and a link to the track used in the sync. Where available, a video (YouTube or Vimeo) or image is also displayed, along with a description providing further context about the placement.

Can I watch the placement video directly on the site?

Yes — if a video has been linked or uploaded, you can watch it directly on the Placement page without leaving the site.

How do I find placements for a specific artist?

Go to the Artist Page for that artist — if placements have been linked to them, they will appear in the Placements section of their page.
