How to Terminate a Song or Individual IP
Search
To terminate a song:
- Search for the song you want to terminate using one of the song search windows.

- Double click the song to open the song overlay, then click Edit Song.

- Click Basic Data and enter Termination Date (Term. Date) into the field.

- Click Apply Data.
- Once the termination date is entered the flag of SONG TERMINATED will appear in the lower right corner message box of the song overlay.
- Click Save or Save and Exit in the song overlay once finished.
To terminate an individual IP:
- Search for the song you want to terminate using one of the song search windows.

- Double click the song to open the song overlay, then click Edit Song.

- Click Composer & Publisher and then Click on Show Effective/Termination Information.

- Use the scroll bar located at the bottom of the individual Composer and Publisher box. You will now see the Effective Date (Eff. Date) and Termination Date (Term Date) box for each individual IP.

- Click in the Term. Date box of the Composer or Publisher you want to terminate and choose the date.
- Once the date is typed in or chosen from the calendar the date will now populate in the Term Date box.
- Click Apply Data.

- When you are back at the Song Mask you will now see a "T" in the capacity box to indicate that IP is terminated. In order to see the dates you will have to go into EDIT and use the scroll bar. In addition the notes can also be populated to let the reader know more about the termination that is being marked.

- Click Save or Save and Exit once finished.
