How to search and create new Rates

Search

  1. To begin your search for existing rates or to create a new rate first got to the second tab in IRIS and click on Rate Management.
  2. To search for an existing Rate type your search term into the field that you want to search and press enter. If you want to display all Rates click Search without inputting anything into any field.
  3. To edit a Rate select the rate and click Edit.
  4. To create a new Rate Click New.
  5. You must select a Client when creating a new Rate. Do this by typing the client name into the Client field or clicking the … at the end of the Client field to open the list of clients window.
  6. Once the window is open you can search for the client you want select that client and click Select.                             
  7. A Source can be added to the Rate if needed. Type the source into the Source field or press the … at the end of the Source field to open the list of sources window.
  8. Once this window is open you can search for the source using the search fields at the top, once you have found the source you want select it and click Select.
  9. A Song Title can be added to the Rate if needed. Type the song title into the Song Title field or press the … at the end of the Song title field to open the song titles search window.
  10. See the: How to use the IRIS search functions document, to navigate this window. Once the correct Song is found select it and click Select Song.
  11. A start and end time for the Rate can be set by inputting the date at which you want the Rate to start and the date at which you want the Rate to end into the Effective starting and Effective Until fields respectively.
  12. You can enter the payout rates into the lower section of the Rates window.
  13. You can auto-fill all the Mechanical Rates fields by entering the rate into any Mechanical Field then clicking out of the text box for a pop-up to appear, click Yes if you want to Auto-fill all other Mechanical Rate fields with the same rate.
  14. You can auto-fill all the Performance Rates fields by entering the rate into any Performance Field then clicking out of the text box for a pop-up to appear, click Yes if you want to Auto-fill all other Performance Rate fields with the same rate.
  15. You can auto-fill all the Sync Rates fields by entering the rate into any Sync Field then clicking out of the text box for a pop-up to appear, click Yes if you want to Auto-fill all other Sync Rate fields with the same rate.
  16. Once you have finished you can save the rate by clicking Save.
  17. You can copy the Rate by clicking Copy Rate.
